I had a surprise visit today from one of my girlfriends who just moved upstate for a few months. She came down to the city for a few days, so we got together for sushi and caught up on news! It was so great to see her and of course the sushi was amazing, as it always is at my favorite spot! Well let's see... my weekend was fun. I hung out with my girlfriends on Saturday night which was a lot of fun!! I had a little too much wine though, lol, so I spent most of Sunday being lazy and "recovering." oops! haha As for the moving situation... it actually wasn't as big of a deal as I had anticipated. My sister and I had a really good chat about it, and it actually turns out that one of her good friends is looking for a new place/roomie... so she's going to move in here, and I'm going to move to the new place. Fun :) Of course Chelsea and I will miss living together, but we'll still see each other all the time!! The only bad part is packing!! My first "Date Night" went over fabulously!!! I don't know who voted so negatively on my current poll, but everyone who attended had a blast!! Soooo, I recieved a rather interesting phone call today... from the people I have been housesitting for, for the past month or so. They were supposed to be back around mid-September, but got pushed back, and now plans have changed even more! The guy got offered a 1-year contract with the company he was doing work for this summer... and so they've decided to stay in the UK. They are having their personal things packed and shipped over, but are keeping their apartment and furniture here in NY. But here's the interesting part... They've asked me to stay on as "housesitter" but like, live-in housesitter. They want me to full-on move in, and basically make it my own place for atleast another year, if not longer. It's a beautiful place, and of course they've offered me a wonderful deal on the rent... I'm just not sure how I'd feel about moving out from living with my sister. We have so much fun together!! I had a great day today... and an esspecially good evening! I met up with one of my girlfriends who I haven't seen in awhile for an early dinner. We hit the wine pretty hard, lol, we were a little tipsy by the time we left the restaurant, but all in good fun :)
I'm really looking forward to this weekend, because I am taking my friend's two kids to see the new 3D movie, "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" I missed both of their birthdays while I was in Vegas over the summer, so we're going to make up for it with dinner & a movie. I had a great weekend, hanging with friends and even got to go on a boat on Sunday afternoon! I relaxed tonight by making a big bowl of popcorn and curling and watching the new episode of Defying Gravity, I absolutely love that show. Amazing!! Well, I had a pretty chill day today. I got up and made a yummy breakfast (bacon, pan-fried potatoes, and toast), and then set out to do a little shopping. I am going camping for my birthday party this weekend, so I wanted to get some new shorts! I had to go to quite a few stores before finding a cute pair in my size, but i DID get some! They're purple & black plaid... very cute! I am excited to wear 'em :)
Then I headed over to my friend's place who I am housesitting for, to hang out for a bit. I checked out their dvd library and saw Grey's Anatomy. I've never watched it but heard it was good, so I popped it in the dvd player and watched the first two episodes. Pretty good show! And of course I brought my laptop so I could have a little bit of iFriends company :) lol Always fun!!!

Wow, I sure am loving summer! I had another busy and fun weekend :) I went to a fun backyard bbq party on Saturday, where I had an amazing hamburger, with tons of side dishes, and after food we played a game of name that tune, and I won first prize, which was a chocolate fondue set! I was pretty happy about that!! Can't wait to try it out. Sunday I went to brunch with one of my girlfriends, which I always love to do, and went shopping for some new short shorts, to wear to my birthday party. No luck finding any yet, but I am sure I will in time for this weekend! Lastnight I just chilled out, made dinner and parked myself infront of the TV for the night. I checked out a new show that was premiering lastnight called Defying Gravity... really good show!!!! They showed 2 episodes in a row, and now I am hooked, lol. Can't wait to watch it again next weekend!!

I had a dreaded dentist appointment, bright and early today! *groan* LOL, actually I shouldn't complain too much, because it wasn't all that bad. No cavities... just need to get my lower wisdom teeth out before too much longer. I had the top ones removed a few years ago, but the dentist left the lowers because he didn't think they would cause me any trouble, as they weren't moving. Well, they've started to move a bit! lol Ah well. I'm ok for now... I'll deal with it when I need to.

What a great weekend! Saturday afternoon I hung out with one of my girlfriends and went for sushi lunch. I can't even believe how hooked I am on that stuff. Two months ago I hated it, and now I'm in love! haha Saturday night, I went to a fancy schmancy party... got all dressed up, which was lots of fun... danced and hung out til the wee hours of the morning & slept in today :) Now I"m just chillin' with some chicken wings hehe... perfect weekend!
